For those who made the effort it was worth it...for those who looked out of the window and thought no thanks its raining...you’re wimps. As it turned out the rain stopped just before the first rider got away and although the road surface was a bit slippy, as Doc Snook found to his cost, generally conditions were pretty good. The marshalls were in all the right places and a few more and all enjoyed even, if some of the times were a bit disappointing..notable exceptions being Sean Bosio and Doc Snook who put in a great time despite coming off on the right hander after the Zoo...personally I reckon you’d do better giving up this silly swimming and running lark and stick to the bike.
