Club Kit

Dear Members

The committee would like to express their desire to see riders competing in club Kit.  The JCA in particular wishes to enfore the wearing of club Kit within JCA events.  Whilst this does not apply to club racing outside of JCA events, we would like to see riders adopting the sporting of club kit in all competitive races on the basis of the following:


1. Wearing club Kit makes it easier for riders to identify members of their own team in mass star road/track races and thus encourages appropriate riding tactics

2. Riding in club kit ensures club members are able to spot non VSJ riders in races and also encourages appropriate tactics

3. Wearing club kit enables the General Public to identify who we are within a competitive situation and this encourages riders to ’behave’ and obide by the rules of the road

4. Wearing club kit promotes a ’sense of pride’ in the club you ride for amongst team mates


We understand that when out training it is not compulsary to wear club kit but we feel this will help promote the club and its sponsors, without whom, we would not be able to run the club financially.  please lend your support to our sponsors where possible by wearing the club kit out and about on your training rides.
