30/06/09 - Bal Tab Divisional Road Race
Riders in Tuesday’s road race series event at Bal Tab were subjected to very hot conditions but the turnout was excellent with good groups in all four divisions and seven youth development programme riders (4 in their first road race) - Ollie Turner being the youngest riding with his Dad for support in Division 4.
All groups largely stayed together with a number of riders in division 1 making breaks but being hauled back in. George Milner very strong in Division 4 only being beaten in the sprint by Ben Le Brocq. All 4 divisions were closely contested at the finish with good results for velo winning 3 of the 4 divisions!
