05.03 Track Series - 10 laps
3 May 10 Lap Track Series
A bunch sprint resulted in the first 4 places being held by Velo riders.
Division 2 managed to hold off Division 1 with Chris Spence just managing to flash past one of the leading group. It was a good inaugural track race for Spencer who was the first Division 3 finisher, in 7th place.
The field was large with 46 riders and it has to be said the race was eventful with Sam Firby breaking his chain soon after the start and a collision on the last lap, when the pace was furious, resulting in 4 landing on the deck, some impressive bruises and a new wheel required!
The next event in the series, over twelve laps of the Les Quennevais Cycle Track, is on 10 May.
