05.08 15m TT
On a slightly wet and certainly windy (SouthWesterly Force 6) evening 4 pairs and 8 individuals braved the elements to put themselves against the clock. Reports are it was incredibly tough on the return journey South.
Ali Cann made good time with 21:28 followed by Steve King, the first vet, with 22:16. Mark Nish had a remarkable time in his comeback race with 22:28 not far behind the Doc. The fastest pair were Colin Perry and Simon Fenton. Peter Derrick and Andy Ilton set the pace for the rest of the field - beating Craig Merideth by only a second!
Des and Tony had their first date on a 2 up TT and early signs seem good! Nice to see you racing again Mary...:) Adrian - hope your rather fetching bike is once more as new! Special mention for Carey Fenton and Stephen Haley who both had fantastic times in tough conditions.
Adrian managed to snap a few photos straight after jumping off his bike.
Thanks to Mick Higginson and Jim Davis for oranising and Dave Jardine and Mike Mitchinson for marshalling.
